The VF-3000 boiler is a compact, high-performance hot-water boiler with a wide range of output.  Designed and manufactured by Harman Stove Company with the same high quality as all of our other products.  

It doesn't matter if you are heating 1,000 or 3000+ square feet, the VF-3000 boiler will hold the temperature you desire.  The 300-lb hopper supplies the coal to the patented verti-flow feeder, where it is burned automatically and unattended for 3 to 5 days depending on outside temperatures.  

This unit was designed with the customer in mind.  First of all, it is totally reversible so you can have the hopper and doors at the most convenient place.  An external cleaning rod cleans all internal pipes and baffles.  All controls and adjustments are easy to reach and adjust.  A large ash tub holds all the ashes from the 250-lb. hopper.  The unit can be broken down into two pieces for easier installation.  The base is designed to keep the bottom of the unit four inches above the floor in case of a wet or damp basement. We also have a factory trained dealer network that would be happy to install a unit in your home.

Verti-Flow Stoker System*

Developed by Harman Stove Company Engineers, this exclusive patented system feeds coal into the fire vertically from the bottom up.  This method has several advantages:
• More complete burning of coal
• Large heat output-from a compact unit
• In mild weather the fire can be maintained at a very low output
• The fire still burns efficiently for several hours even with a loss of electrical power
• Burns over 3 to 5 days with one hopper of coal
• Burns economical anthracite rice coal
• Easy to adjust feed rate with feed rate indicator

All moving parts are designed for long life.  The pusher assembly rides on heavy bronze bearings, the pusher arm and motor on ball bearings, and the gear box on needle bearings.
