The Lord family has been in the hearth business for over 30 years. Almost ten years ago, Dave’s dad passed on the business to his son & daughter-in-law, David & Roxanne. David has extensive experience in the custom home building segment. Approximately five years ago, David hung up his tool belt for good and devoted all of his energy and experience to growing The Trading Post. Roxanne and David’s personalized approach to each and every customer is unique and enables us to address each aspect of a customers home, hearth or leisure project. David is also a member of the Hearth Masters of America, a prestigious honor afforded to a very select number of hearth retailers. David is also certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) in wood, gas and pellet technologies and standards.

Paul Weller,Sales,
Architect/Builder/Interior Decorator Segment
Paul Weller comes to us after a long career at Kimberly-Clark. Paul is responsible for supporting all of our architects, builders and interior decorators. Paul has extensive experience in home construction and applies that knowledge in supporting large projects with diverse needs and requirements. On an appointment basis, Paul will visit with you personally to understand your project requirements, offer you recommendations/solutions and provide you with a written proposal. Paul is eager to assist you in anyway that he can.

David Drohan,
David Drohan has been with us for nearly four years. You will find Dave to be very knowledgeable and helpful to all our customers. David is responsible for supporting all inventory related activities and project preparation. David is also responsible for all spa support questions; from installation to service. David is also certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) in wood, gas and pellet technologies and standards. David loves the outdoors and people and you will always find him eager to help you in any way!

Barry DiMaria, Installation & Service Technician
Barry is our resident hearth expert. Don’t let Barry’s young age fool you. He has been installing fireplaces, stoves and chimney for many years. Barry has terrific field knowledge and can professionally and neatly install a fireplace or stove in your home in no time. Barry knows all the state and local building codes and the quality of his work is exceptional. Barry is always willing to answer your questions, provide you with solutions, and be there for you years after his work is complete. Barry is attending NFI certification classes in wood, gas, and pellet technologies….he is so good at what he does that its hard for us to send him out to class.

John Gaspar, Service Technician
John is our up and coming service and installation technician. John has been with us for just over a year and has been performing installations and services for about the same amount of time. John comes to us as a former small business owner, so he knows a lot about what it takes to keep customers happy and how to service their needs. Besides performing installations/services, John also helps us deliver our fuel to your home and will answer questions you have about the operation of your fireplace or stove.

Bill Smith, Gas Technician
Bill comes to us after having various technical/manager roles at leading gas & oil retailers. As Bill is a licensed/insured “G1” gas technician, he is responsible for the gas installation aspect of our fireplaces, stoves and gas log sets. Bill’s work is meticulous and top notch; there in anyone for knowledgeable than Bill as it relates to gas work. From a new gas fireplace installation, to a service issue to a cleaning, Bill can professionally address your every concern.
